Mock Editorial Photoshoot

Objective:

This is a mock fashion styling project that includes a business plan simulation. The business plan is representing my own independent company as a professional personal stylist. This project includes a mock editorial photo-shoot for Elle magazine with a working model, all featured photo-shoot details like location and theme, four complete cohesive outfits for the shoot, and a list of other styling services I provide. Working on projects such as this and gaining fashion styling knowledge is useful when entering the digital marketing and social media world for retail companies. It allows me to demonstrate industry knowledge, trend forecasting abilities, and contributes to the visual design of digital content.

Mission Statement

Raya styles for the modern young woman that loves to be on trend and fresh, but that still stands out in her own way. Whether its business casual or a formal affair, a hinted element of an urban sporty appeal is present in most of her looks. Raya always finds it important that her clients feel confident and comfortable in what they have on. She likes being able to feature aspects of the client's personality through the clothing. As a result, Raya will make her clients feel comfortable yet strikingly chic.

PERSONAL STYLIST SERVICES, RATES, & FEES

1. Closet Organization & Maintenance

Service includes the rearranging and organization of closet items with a full wardrobe assessment. Suggestions will be made on which items should be kept, donated, replaced etc..based on fit, season, and condition.

$55 per hour

2. Personal Shopping

Service includes in-store shopping along with shopping for shoes and accessories. Shopping for items to be included in the client's wardrobe, a special occasion, or outfit changes.

$75 per hour

*Client will pay deposit fee once the service is booked and then pay the remaining amount after the service is completed with satisfaction.

Story & Background

A young international business women has traveled to Paris, France on a work trip. She is to be present at a board meeting for one of France's top fashion design houses. During her trip she stays at the 5-star hotel The Ritz Paris. This location is perfect for a chic and sophisticated vibe, in the heart of one of the most fashion forward cities in the world but can also serve as a comfortable spot to lounge and relax after a busy work day. Also, the springtime essence of Paris gives a fresh and playful mood for the scenery.
