Instagram Content Creation
Objective
In August of 2021, I began my free-lanced content creation journey. I took over the Instagram account for the Dominican University women's soccer team because I've been a member since 2019. This Instagram account was fully created by me and pervious soccer team members on our own. During my time of running this account I succeeded in following all school regulations and NCAA guidelines for university social media accounts. I created posts, reels, and stories 2 to 4 times a week to promote game days, team activities, players, and team highlights. This experience was very rewarding for me, but also beneficial for our soccer program in growing an online presence and networking for recruitment purposes.

This Instagram account was created in order to promote the Dominican University's Women Soccer team to the campus community and other division III women's programs within the Illinois and Wisconsin region.
My tasks & responsibilities during this role included...

Using Canva and Photoshop to create edited photos and posts for the IG grid.

Planning creative content for interactive IG stories to increase engagement.

Implementing social media campaigns such as game day posts, player birthday stories, recruit commitments, and highlighting team or conference awards.

Communicating & networking with recruits and followers via DM that expressed interest in the team.

Increased following by 30% in 5 months
Grid post 2 times per week during Fall season (Aug.-Nov.)
