Social Media Managment
Objective:
In August of 2022, I began a new job at Dominican University working for the Rosary College of Arts & Sciences (RCAS). This role required a student position to be filled in order to oversee and manage the RCAS social media accounts. Working in this role was beneficial for me in order to gain experience in different digital landscapes; this one being higher education. The account is meant to inform members of the RCAS, highlight the majors in the Arts and Science fields, and inform other campus organizations about important events.

As a student account manger it was my responsibility to oversee social media activity including likes and comments on all of the RCAS Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
I was also in charge of overseeing and implementing my own social media campaign for the school year. I chose to create a Major Of The Month campaign in order to highlight different majors within the school of Arts and Sciences to the Dominican University community.

Promote university faculty, student, or alumni notable achievements and events
Metrics
Facebook and IG are the most used accounts.
On Facebook from Nov. 6th to Dec. 3rd account reach increased by 32% since October of 2022.
Instagram engagement increased by over 60% within the first 3 months of employment
